i already know that the moderators are the admin so NO NEED to have them state that by the topics and we know what the topics mean when you state "general discussion" "law enforcement news" etc....so NO NEED to tell us what a general discussion is about...everything is too cluttered and its hard to find the threads or topics i want....you need better use of bold and underlines to differentiate things...and the colors are look like old people car color choices...beige and gold......how about gold and blue like njsp |

I agree, no need to have who the moderators are near each sub forum [unless the admin plans on making some members moderators?]
If nothing else, UNbold the moderators name and BOLD the forum title. That way it will be easier to find the forum title quicker.
Also...add a "reply" tab at the bottom of each thread. Right now it's only at the top and it isn't intuitive to scroll back up the thread to reply.
As per another thread, the color is too bright. Bright colors imply happiness and we just can't have that around here!

As far as some of the suggestions so far...
1. Lines between the posts too light - There is no obvious way to change this. We've put a call in to the company for assistance.
2. Some prefer the old color scheme - Unfortunately, this won't be an option. When they changed the programming for the forums, they converted the old color scheme to a skin. However, some things did not convert well, and there were a lot of issues like "submit" and "reply" buttons the same color as the background (basically invisible) and awkward thread layouts.
3. Moderator listings for each forum - We were able to turn this off to help reduce the clutter.
4. Descriptions Under Each Forum Title - We shortened or completely eliminated them.

maybe also move the house keeping stuff to the bottom as to not everybody will want to post there as much.

can you guys highlight the titles of the threads...it is hard for my eyes to pick up on the title when all i see is when it was posted and who posted it. |
